Over the past several years, Leighton has built up a solid resume of singing/acting performances, including a singing role in the 2007 movie Drive Thru and a one-of-a-kind duet with the legendary Tony Bennett on the hit HBO series 'Entourage'. Most recently, ‘leaked’ versions of the Kim Carnes classic "Bette Davis Eyes", the Awesome New Republic song “Birthday” featuring Meester on lead vocals, and the original song "Body Control" have been embraced by online fans and music bloggers.

Supermodel Heidi Klum and hubby Seal have 3rd baby!
Heidi Klum 36, is the happy mother of four, giving birth to a beautiful baby girl on Friday. The babies name is Lou Samuel, reports RadarOnline.
This is her 4th child, and the 3rd with hubby Seal. Her eldest daughter Helene was fathered by Flavio Briatore an Italian race car tycoon she dated in 2003, the baby was born in May 2004.
Unfortunately the Italian boyfriend was not very involved or very considerate of Heidi's pregnancy, found kissing another woman, a jewelry heiress on the day she announced she was pregnant.
Happier times were in order for the supermodel, when she met musician Seal 46, in early 2004 while still pregnant with Briatores child. They fell in love and he romantically proposed to her on 24 December 2004, while the couple shared an igloo he had built on a glacier in Whistler, British Columbia! On 10 May 2005, the couple tied the knot on a lovely beach in Mexico near Seal's home on Mexico's Costa Careyes.
The scars on Seals face are a result of (DLE) discoid lupus erythematosus, at the age of 23 he developed this disease which left him scarred. The award winning musician famous for singing “Kiss from a Rose” appears unaffected by the visible scarring.
The couple has two beautiful boys, Henry born Sept. 2005 and Johan born Nov. 2006.
When making reference to Briatore being the father to eldest daughter Helene, she simply states that “Seal is Leni’s fathers.” Reports RadarOnline, additionally she’s made it clear that Briatore is not involved in her daughters life, and I think this is exactly how she prefers it.
She refers to her family as a “patchwork family” she further adds, “I’m not white, I’m a shade of brown, we’re all different shades and we came together and we all love each other…it’s actually kind of nice to have a ‘patchwork family.”
The family of six appears happy, the love between the parents is clear, and the devotion to family will probably guarantee that this Hollywood family beat the odds of being in the spotlight.

German supermodel Heidi Klum has broken her silence over the birth of her fourth child, confirming that the little girl’s name is Lou Sulola Samuel.“Lou Sulola was born and from the moment she looked into both of our eyes it was endless love at first sight,” 36-year-old Klum wrote on her website Monday evening. “She is beautiful beyond words and we are happy that she chose us to watch her grow over the coming years.”
The new baby, the second daughter for Klum and her husband, singer Seal, was born on October 9 at 7:46 pm.
Klum, the of “Project Runway” and “Germany’s Next Top Model,” kept quiet for three days despite media reports she had given birth.
The media powerhouse from Bergisch-Gladbach already has a five-year-old daughter, Leni, from a previous relationship with Formula One manager Flavio Briatore. She and Seal also have two sons Henry (3), and Johan (2).
The busy mum Klum has also reportedly decided to change her surname to Samuel – the last name of her husband.

Prince Interview with French Press
WATCH A VIDEO OF THIS EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW HERE!
Q: Why did you choose the Grand Palais?
A : When I did "21 nights" in London, the sound of the audience was so powerful that I needed something better and bigger. And when I saw the Chanel fashion show (last week) and Karl (Lagerfeld) came out and there was this roar that came up, I was jealous.
Q: You fell in love with the Grand Palais. Do you fall in love often?
A: I needed some place to stay and that was the best that you could do, so...
Q: What did you think about yesterday's shows?
A: They were my favourite so far. I always try to outdo the different shows that I've done.
Q: Can you define the pleasure of being on stage and making music?
A: I was telling a friend of mine recently that it feels like I'm in a dream and I don't like to go to sleep anymore, because the dream is never as good as real life.
Q: What did you think about the crowd last night?
A: Amazing. It is actually indescribable, that much love. They were very respectful. We asked that no one used camera phones and they honoured that request, unlike Americans who are so obsessed with technology. We don't like to have our concert filmed that way because it sounds so bad and then you give all the footage to somebody like YouTube who is run by Universal Publishing, and some of those same lawyers.
Q: What about your time in Paris? Does the city bring you inspiration?
A: It's a very erotic town, so it's very inspirational.
Q: Do you like French food?
A: No.
Q: When you sing "Dance For Me", are you thinking about somebody special?
A: Yes. I was looking in the mirror when I wrote it.
Q: You struggled a lot for you artistic freedom and now it seems you are totally free. How does it feel?
A: These are the days I was looking forward to. It's hard to sleep because the options are so numerous. It was worth the fight, it was worth the struggle. I advise every artist to go through it if they can. The cream rises to the top anyway. A real free music doesn't mean that you don't pay for it, it just means there are no authoritarian figures telling you what you're supposed to do with it.
Q: Is the Internet opening new doors for you?
A: It's a tool. It's not a means to an end. My concerts have always been dear to me and it's almost a shame I got so good at making records because the media is dying now, so until something new happens and we get some laws and restrictions to how the media is used and the revenue is shared, then I'll just stick with the live stuff and every once in a while I'll do records.
Q: Are you a happy man today?
A: Very happy. More happy than ever actually.
Q: If you changed your name again today, what would you change it for?
A: I like this name. I think it fits.
Q: If you were to write the definition of funky in a dictionary, what would the definition be?
A: If you can describe it, you ain't funky.
Q: Are there any questions you want us to ask you?
A: Ask me about God. We need him. We all do.
Universal Republic's Erik Hassle
“It’s music about things you think of when you’re going to sleep…”
Three years is a long time at a point when overnight success is taken to be the norm, but at the age of just twenty singer, songwriter and idiosyncratic soul pop talent Erik Hassle already believes in taking things slowly. It is just as well: his signature tune "Hurtful" took a year to start climbing the charts in Sweden, but that first trickle of success quickly became a tidal wave.
Now the cycle begins again in the UK, not with "Hurtful" (yet) but, to kick things off, with the synthy acoustic number "Don’t Bring Flowers". There is also an album titled 'Hassle'. You can trace it back, if you wish, to a tiny village voted the most boring place in all of Sweden, and the first time Hassle picked up a drum stick at the age of five then fell in love with the Wilson Pickett albums belonging to his best friend’s father. But the real story of this album is a more recent three year window of life, frozen in song.

Universal Motown's New Breakout Girl Group Jada Releases 'Breakup Song'
Four extraordinary singers united by a common goal, Jada is the latest iteration of the classic female vocal group. Since coming together six years ago, all four members have devoted themselves heart and soul to Jada. Their self-titled debut marks the culmination of a remarkable journey in which these talented individuals came together to create a beautifully cohesive whole. From the album-opening ballad “Is It Love” to the sassy RedOne/Akon-produced first single, “American Cowboy”, 'Jada' is a bright and brazen mix of pop, soul, dance, and R&B, spiced by Jada's characteristic gospel-inspired harmonies. The powerhouse sound is not dissimilar from the girls themselves – soulful and sophisticated, sexy and strong, heartfelt and honest, flirty and fun.

Alicia Keys Discusses New Album
Alicia Keys has already given her audiance a taste of her new upcoming album "Elements of Freedom" (available on December 1st) by releasing the first song of the album "Doesn't Mean Anything". Below are AK's thoughts on the new album.
The music is really strong, and the drums are really aggressive, but my voice is vulnerable and delicate," Keys said in a statement, adding that the album sum ups her process of "eliminating all of the boundaries and all the limitations, so that you can feel your freedom and express your freedom in every way you possibly can, and that's what I did with this album."
"The sound of it is very different — it almost feels like you're flying," she said of the track. "It takes you there. It has that piano, heavy-drum feeling. But the song touches you in this way. You dream of having all these things, you dream of going all these places. But what's the point of doing that, having that, if the one you want to be there isn't with you?"
Keys said the album is diverse but has an overarching pattern. "There's a feeling theme," she explained. "And I think somewhere in there, there's a balance. It's like one side is strong and one side is vulnerable. So that's the theme throughout the album. It has this kind of strong, edgy feel. But it's also intimate and vulnerable and delicate."

New Michael Jackson Song - This Is It
The long awaited new song from Michael Jackson "This Is It" has been released. The album will be released on October 27th and the movie will come out on October 28th. It reminds me of another Michael Jackon song, but I can't really pin point which one, can you?

Listen to Michael Buble's Crazy Love!
The album contains a mix of original tracks and covers of classics, Michael Bublé describes the album as the “ultimate record about the inevitable roller coaster ride of relationships”.
"I started this record knowing I was going to record it differently than my previous ones," he said.
" I dug way deeper and was more introspective on this one. Basically, I sang the truth - made each song autobiographical - and you can definitely hear the difference.
"I went back to the way my idols made their records. I wanted an organic feel - so people could feel like they were in the studio with me. The musicians and I all sat in the room, recorded it right from the floor and we let the sounds all come together and bleed into one another. It's not contrived. Not too perfect. It just feels really good."
Crazy Love will be officially released on October 19.

Leona Lewis - "Echo" Official Cover Art
Leona Lewis' upcoming second studio album "Echo" has got an official seductive cover art!
The lead single off the album is titled "Happy". Written by OneRepublic's vocalist Ryan Tedder, the song was unveiled on BBC's "The Radio 1 Chart Show" on September 6 and performed live in U.S. for the first time on the finale of "America's Got Talent" season 4.
Leona on the new album: "I titled my album 'ECHO', since an echo describes a big, organic sound. I'm in the midst of the recording process, working with incredible songwriters and producers, and my music has really evolved. It's so exciting to create something new".

N'dambi's New Soulful Album 'Pink Elephant' Available Now!
The critics weigh in on Pink Elephant, the Stax Records debut from soul diva N'dambi!
"Erykah Badu isn't the only soul diva putting Dallas on the map." - DallasNews.com
"N'Dambi's prowess, like the animal after which her CD is titled, is a sizeable one that even the most jaded of soul connoisseurs will be unable to overlook." - SoulTracks.com
"Though the tunes throw it back to the good ol’ days, N’dambi adds a little spice to the fold, made evident on the lead single “Can’t Hardly Wait” where she drops a handful of sassy f-bombs over a popping funk bass groove. Call it neo-soul for the modern age." - ShowingOut.com
"Have you ever put on a new CD and automatically placed your finger on the forward button anticipating the inevitable, "Eh... next!.... this is alright... OK, I like this one... next... next... this could grow on me... next.... next... I like this!... next... is that it?" Well, N'Dambi's Pink Elephant is so not that album!" - PearlsWindow.com
"N'dambi's Pink Elephant, is a masterpiece that layers her molasses-drenched vocals into cushy multi-part harmonies." - GiantStep.net

New Jennifer Lopez Song - "Fresh Out The Oven"
Jennifer Lopez has just released a new track titled "Fresh Out of the Oven". Having rapper Pitbull on the hook, the track is produced by The Neptunes and contains up-tempo jams which allow people to dance.
When the track came out, rumor suggested it would be included in Jennifer's upcoming studio album tentatively titled "Love". There was also speculation that she would launch her alter ego, Lola. However, both reports were turned down by her camp.
"This is a hot club record that the label loved and Jennifer thought was fun," Amanda Ghost, president of Epic Records explained to People. "Jennifer and Pitbull got together and the record leaked. Lola is a fun character just for this song." A source close to the singer emphasized, "Lola is just for this song, it's not her ongoing persona. It's something fun. She hasn't become Sasha Fierce [Beyonce Knowles' artistic alter ego]. There won't be anything to do with Lola on her 'Love?' album."
What do you think, is Jennifer Lopez trying to copy Beyonce? Sasha Fierce worked so well for her, maybe Jennifer thinks she can do a great comeback with a new name.
New Mya Album - Moodring
Amazon is featuring Mya’s third studio album, Moodring, as an Amazon Daily Deal. You can purchase the entire 17 track album for only $1.99. Mya can currently be seen on this seasons Dancing With The Stars.
Mya's third record "Moodring", is full of drama, from the theatrical vocal phrasing to the lush production. There's a pop-R&B approach straight from the playbook of the Jacksons' vintage '80s work, the best balance coming on breezy tracks like "Sophisticated Lady" and "Late."
The album includes: Mya (vocals); Common (rap vocals); Jimmy Jam, Terry Lewis (various instruments); Bobby Ross Avila (guitar, Wurlitzer piano, strings); Derek Scott (guitar); Jerry Hey, Gary Grant (horns); DJ Harper, Earl Fleming (keyboards); Alex Al (acoustic & electric basses); Eddie Cole (bass); Steve Ferrone (drums); Luis Conte (percussion); Missy Elliott, Katrina C. Willis (background vocals).
Producers include: Ron Fair, Missy Elliott, Timbaland, Jimmy Jam, Terry Lewis.
